For those clients who have returned their packet, the next step is to have a free initial consultation with attorney Kevin Ahrenholz to discuss your options relating to bankruptcy after he has had an opportunity to review your financial picture.  After that free initial consultation, if you decide you wish to go forward with a bankruptcy filing, there are a few things you need to do before you can file, including attending a credit counseling course.  You can view and download a client checklist of tasks you need to accomplish pre-filing, before you can file a bankruptcy petition, as well as tasks you must do post filing, after you file.  In addition, you can locate a credit counseling location near you, or select one from the internet by downloading and viewing the credit counseling document.  The contractual terms of the attorney representation is contained in the Attorney Contract.  You will note that there is no money due until the actual filing of your bankruptcy petition, and if you elect not to file bankruptcy, you will not be billed, even if you download, sign and return the attorney contract.
